Florida Humanities GrantsGrants Director Position Now Open | | The Florida Humanities Council offers grants to groups like ours, supporting engaging humanities-based learning experiences, providing speakers and programs of interest to our members and friends in the community.
Beginning in 2022, Florida Humanities’ Community Project Grants will double, awarding up to $10,000 to support humanities-based learning experiences. This funding opportunity aims to increase public participation in — and access to — the humanities by providing relevant, engaging, and meaningful humanities-based programming to all.
The Miami Pioneers and Natives of Dade historical society is looking for a point person among our members to take the lead on learning more about these grants and programs. Do you have a few hours each month to volunteer some time to engage with the Florida Humanities Council on our behalf as our grants director?
Please let us know if you're willing to step up and help out with this worthy project. Call Robert Burr at 305-439-1376 or send an email to: rob@mpnod.org |
