You are probably too young to have participated in the Christian Youth Council which later became the National Conference of Christians and Jews. The group use to meet at White Temple Methodist Church in downtown Miami. A Rev. James was the pastor and he had a daughter named Jean. This was back in the 1940s. I know Miami Pioneers and Natives of Dade members Joy McGarry and Fred Rice were members of the group.

I was asked if I knew any white persons who are living that were members of the group. I cannot think of anyone. Can you help with this?
