Join the Miami Pioneers and Natives of Dade historical society for a special event, sharing memories of growing up in South Florida. Discover the rich history of Miami through personal stories from the people who lived it. The Miami Pioneers, founded in 1936 by early settlers and business leaders, and the Natives of Dade, formed in 1986 by locals born in the area, merged in 2002. Members recount firsthand experiences, keeping the spirit of old Miami alive for future generations. Everyone is welcome to attend and contribute to the storytelling.
