Professor Seth Bramson will discuss his newly-published book: Broward County in the Arcadia Postcard History Series.
The book features many postcard images of Broward County from Seth’s extensive collection, collected over a lifetime. As some of you may know, in addition to his teaching and his massive collections of FEC Railway, Florida transportation memorabilia, Miami memorabilia and Floridiana, Seth is America’s single most-published Florida history book author.
Seth will also talk about his biography of former Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerald Kogan. Justice Kogan prosecuted Candace Mossler and Melvin Lane Powers in the murder trial of her husband, Miami banker Jacques Mossler as well as a number of other high profile cases. His reputation was so sterling that he moved right from the Criminal Court bench to the Supreme Court without stopping at the appellate level.

Seth is celebrating 59 years of collecting Florida East Coast Railway and Florida transportation memorabilia as well as Miami memorabilia and Floridiana.
The meeting takes place on Sunday, November 5th at 2:30pm at the Community Room of the Central Christian Church at 222 Menores Avenue in Coral Gables.
