The Miami Pioneers and Natives of Dade monthly meeting is set for Sunday, September 9th at 2:30pm in the Community at Central Christian Church.
Our guest speaker is Christine Rupp, Executive Director of Dade Heritage Trust — with an update on the many important projects DHT is supporting in the coming year.
Christine is responsible for many great programs and events in the community including the Historic Biltmore Tour, Brickell Avenue North Walking Tour, Coconut Grove Bike Tour, the Book & Attic Sale, Dade Heritage Days and much more.
Dade Heritage Trust’s advocacy program has assisted with the rescue and restoration of many historic venues throughout Miami-Dade County. Working with partner organizations and governments, Dade Heritage Trust has preserved and continues to advocate for responsible development and preservation of our community’s historic resources.
The meeting will conclude with social time and refreshments.
The public is welcome to attend.
